There are four categories of programs:
1) Pay to Click (PTC) - Online advertisers will pay you to logon to the Pay to Click website an click on banner ads and view the ad for 15 - 60 seconds.
2) Pay to Read (PTR) - Online advertisers will actually pay you to receive an e-mail from them, and click on a link in that e-mail and view an ad for about 30 seconds.
3) Online Surveys - Marketing Research companies will pay you to receive an e-mail, click on the survey link, and complete the survey. Surveys can take you as little as 5 minutes and as much as 60 minutes. Compensation is usually based on the survey length.
4) Other Programs - These are programs unrelated to advertising, but can earn you some extra cash.

Tips before and after you sign up:
1) Setup an e-mail account just for these programs as you will get some spam. So don't use your primary e-mail account. There are many free e-mail services out there. I use Yahoo.
